The project “Inclusive Local Governance through Citizen Participation” is being implemented from 1 July 2026 to 28 February 2027 by the Association for Combating Information Isolation “ECOU”, with financial support from the Government of Canada through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). The project seeks to strengthen transparent, accountable and inclusive local governance in six rural communities in southern Moldova. It focuses on building the capacities of local public authorities and Citizen Participation Committees and encouraging citizens to take an active role in local decision-making through the online public consultation platforms particip.gov.md and edemocratie.gov.md.
