Chernivtsi Lyceum No. 20 is one of the largest schools not only in the city, but also in the region. Today, there are 1,364 students in 42 classes, of which 640 students are in the 1st grade school - 20 classes. Training is provided by 115 teachers. There are 2 extended day groups, 14 classes with an inclusive form of education for 16 children with disabilities. Students can study 2 languages: German or English - to choose from. The school has several Internet classrooms, 2 sports halls, a library, a museum, a school canteen. Each classroom has a TV and Internet for online educational programs, some classrooms have smart boards and computers. The school has courses in football, basketball, tennis, archery, and a dance club for the city's youth. Since September 1, 2017, 2 classes at the school have been included in the pilot project for the implementation of the new State Standard. It is carried out at the institution "A plan of measures to implement the Concept of the New Ukrainian School in the conditions reforming primary education in Chernivtsi Lyceum No. 20". At school a creative group of teachers "New Ukrainian school: realities and prospects". Currently, a pilot is being implemented in a basic school.Our school was one of the first institutions in Bukovina to introduce inclusive education
training for students with special needs. The conditions for their training have been created as much as possible, corrective and developmental classes are held with psychologists...
The first written mention of Chernivtsi dates back to 1408. The city is 40 km from the Romanian border and boasts exquisite architecture and interesting sights.
