The European Meeting House – Nowy Staw Foundation is one of the leading non-governmental organizations in Eastern Poland, which has been shaping civic attitudes and promoting intercultural dialogue for over three decades. It was established in 1993 in Lublin, born out of the conviction that solidarity and cooperation among local communities are the foundation of a united Europe. Our mission is to support social initiatives, education, and the development of civil society. We focus on professional activation, helping the unemployed and those at risk of exclusion find their place in the labor market. We organize youth exchanges, seminars, and international internships. We support local leaders and NGOs in their daily work. Our activities are directed at youth, job seekers, migrants, and the social economy sector. The Foundation’s scope of activities is nationwide and international, with a particular focus on cooperation with Eastern Partnership countries and the European Union.
